and more!

We are a congregation of the Episcopal church located in historic downtown Frankfort, capital city of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. People of faith have worshiped at this site since 1836. We open our doors daily for timeless worship, thoughtful study, meaningful service, and hearts embraced by Christ.

Look around and get a feel for our church - both the welcoming community of people and the lovely historic building we enjoy. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our services

When you visit, you will be a respected and welcome guest. We hope you and your family will have a warm and spirit-filled experience with us as we worship and fellowship together.

We are an affirming church. We believe God accepts people of every race, culture, age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, educational level and economic status...
and so must we.

Ascension is featured on Frankfort's public art tour.
