Located in the heart of Kentucky's capital city, Church of the Ascension offers a place of comfort, hope, & peace of mind. We are dedicated to spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are a welcoming & affirming community; we believe God accepts people of every race, culture, age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, educational level & economic status... and so must we. We invite you to join us, & look forward to meeting you!
Services are held in the church on Sundays at 10:30am & Wednesdays at 1:00pm. Online worship is offered throughout the week.

Before Ash Wednesday heralds the arrival of Lent, indulge in a delicious pancake supper prepared by the Ascension Men’s Club. Proceeds support the good works of the Men’s Club in the church and community.
