Assisting Priest (retired) ofc 502-223-0557

Mother Linda was called to join our staff as of January 15, 2017. She was born in southeastern Kentucky; her family moved to southern Ohio when she was a child. In 1968, she married Donald Ira Eskew from Ashland. After twenty-eight years of marriage, Donald died of a heart attack at age 48. They were living in Owensboro at that time, but previously they had lived in Louisville, Nashville and Atlanta. Mother Linda moved back to Georgia and began her journey to the priesthood in 1997.

Mother Linda graduated from The University of the South School of Theology (Sewanee) in 2005, with a Master of Divinity degree. She was ordained Deacon and Priest in that same year, and served churches in South Georgia until 2008. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

In 2008 she was called to the Diocese of Montana to serve as Missioner. As such she served churches in Billings, Forsyth, and Miles City. She also served as Deputy to General Convention in 2012, as a member of Diocesan Council, and as President of the Standing Committee for two succeeding years.

In 2015 Mother Linda moved back to her native Kentucky to serve as Priest in Charge at The Church of the Holy Trinity in Georgetown. She retired at the end of 2016. In addition to serving churches, Mother Linda enjoys family, travel, photography, painting, reading mystery novels, and of course her two perfect cats, Sadie and Lola.
